The client owns and operates power transmission and renewable energy assets in India. Our site was located on a transmission substation in a rather rural context.

The requirement was to create a guesthouse and office block for the client on the premises.

Our approach to design was create the space that would be unassuming and dissolve in the surroundings. The materials selected were natural and colours muted. The idea was to highlight the towers and context which formed the core business of the client. Our intervention needed to be incidental.
