Client Brief and Expectations:
Deliver an Iconic design to this standalone premises, which becomes the landmark for everyone in the city traversing through that street.
Challenges:
Smaller floor plates which had to meet with the large teamwise client expectations. Lower existing slab to slab heights which had to be addressed by design to give an experience of acceptable visual aesthetic
Concept and Design Approach:
Lighter wooden finish tones proposed to create a more open and inviting space. Lighter wooden tones reflect light, which make the room feel brighter and more spacious. Lighter wooden tones used on walls and ceiling helped in creating continuity, thus making the space look seamless and visually enhancing the expanse of the space. This decision added warmth to the space, without it being overwhelming. And it provided Neutral backdrops thus allowing ease in pairing it up with the Art, artefacts and various colors and textures used in the decor of the space.
