Design Manager

Role Overview:

As an Associate Design Manager at Alcove Designs, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the design process for a diverse range of projects from inception to completion. This role requires collaboration with both international and local designers, as well as close interaction with clients to understand their design needs and requirements. The Associate Design Manager must ensure that projects meet the highest standards of design and quality, incorporating innovative solutions while staying aligned with client expectations and project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with a team of international and local designers to develop design concepts, sketches, and presentations for various projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Develop and present design concepts and proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary.
• Coordinate construction drawings and documents with all consultants and stakeholders to ensure compliance with quality standards and client specifications.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including contractors and engineers, to ensure that design intent is executed accurately in the final product.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends and technologies, integrating them into projects to enhance innovation and effectiveness.
• Represent the firm in client meetings, industry events, and professional organizations, promoting the company’s expertise and capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural and interior design, with a proven track record of managing projects from conception to completion.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities, including team coordination, client liaison, and stakeholder engagement.
• A passion for design excellence, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering innovative and high-quality solutions.
