Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Designer to join our dynamic team at our Mumbai studio. The Designer will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the design process for projects from conception to completion, ensuring that each project meets the highest standards of creativity, functionality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project team to develop innovative design solutions that align with client requirements and project goals.
• Engage with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget constraints, and translate these into actionable design concepts.
• Develop and present design concepts, sketches, and presentations to clients, effectively communicating design intent and vision.
• Lead the production of construction documents, including detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with project stakeholders, such as contractors and engineers, to ensure seamless execution of design intent throughout the construction process.
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies, and incorporate them into projects to enhance creativity and functionality.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget constraints.
• Represent the firm in client meetings, industry events, and professional organizations, building and maintaining strong client relationships and fostering a positive reputation for Alcove Designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural and interior design, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects from conception to completion.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and ideas to clients and project stakeholders.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets effectively.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
• Creative thinker with a passion for design innovation and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
